Dr. Brazil is a former college athlete with a background rooted in her personal journey of overcoming adversity through rehabilitative care. Raised in Mendocino County in rural Northern California, she discovered her passion for physical therapy during her undergraduate years at The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology while representing the school on the soccer field. Driven by her own experiences with reconstructive knee surgeries and the subsequent rehabilitation process, she was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy.
In 2023, Dr. Brazil successfully earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from California State University, Sacramento. Dr. Brazil firmly believes in the importance of patient education and works to empower her patients by providing them with the knowledge and tools necessary for their recovery journey. Central to her practice is a focus on movement quality through treatment plans built toward measurable and relevant goals. Dr. Brazil’s patient-centric philosophy recognizes that physical therapy is not just about treating injuries but enabling patients to actively participate in the activities that matter to them most. From the initial evaluation, Dr. Brazil collaborates with her patients to establish clear goals and outline a roadmap for their rehabilitation journey. Anna has experience treating a wide variety of patients and is passionate about helping individuals successfully return to optimal performance.
In her spare time, Dr. Brazil enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking, horseback riding and learning to surf.
